INFO YOU WON’T FIND ON MY RESUME:I started embroidering and hand-knitting when I was 5 years old. In elementary and middle school I would alter hand me down clothes so I can wear nice things. At 19 I started a custom design atelier out of my parents’ apartment (they loved it 🙂 ) where I made made-to-measure clothing for over 30 regular customers, some of them socialites. At 21 I immigrated to the US to pursue my dream – Fashion. I put myself through fashion school, while waiting tables and taking various creative gigs from stationary design to Barbie clothing to custom wedding dresses. Upon finishing school I started my New York industry experience working my way through the ranks from an intern to a Design Director. My path has taken me from hand-made creations in French lace to mass market plus size. My versatility spans from fine garment making techniques to price point designs.
PROFESSIONALLY, I love: Leading creative teams, problem-solving, impeccable garment construction, designing through a brand’s lens, trend forecasting, sustainability, beautiful fabrics, all colors, product development, commercial success and of course, attention to detail.
